Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 20, 2026 (UTC)
This Privacy Policy explains how VideoSupporterSoft ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the VideoSupporterSoft product portal (the "Site"). It applies to the Site, including its product information, documentation, analytics, support pages, and contact form.
This policy does not describe data processing performed by an individual VideoSupporterSoft Windows application. Each application may have its own privacy policy describing its actual behavior. Information about one application must not be understood as applying to other products or to the Site.
Information We Handle
Information you submit through the contact form
When you contact us through the Site, we collect:
- your reply email address;
- the subject of your inquiry;
- the selected product, if you choose one;
- the message you submit; and
- your confirmation that you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We use this information only to receive, review, respond to, and manage your support or product inquiry; prevent abuse; and protect the security and reliability of the Site.
Do not include passwords, API keys, SRT passphrases, private stream addresses, financial information, health information, or other information that is not necessary for us to answer your inquiry.
Site usage and technical information
The Site uses the following analytics services to understand page usage and performance and to improve the Site and its documentation:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first analytics that collects limited page-performance and usage measurements without cookies and does not track individual visitors across Cloudflare customers' sites.
- Google Analytics 4. The Site uses Google Analytics with measurement ID `G-EMTYSP9272`. Google Analytics may process information such as page views, referring pages, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, interaction events, IP address, and identifiers stored in or read from first-party cookies or similar technologies.
We use analytics for aggregate measurement and Site improvement. We do not use the Site's analytics data to create VideoSupporterSoft user accounts, identify individual visitors by name, or add advertising profiles. We do not enable advertising features unless this policy is updated before they are enabled.
Cookies and Your Choices
Cloudflare Web Analytics operates without cookies. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers for measurement.
You can limit or prevent Google Analytics measurement by:
- blocking or deleting cookies in your browser;
- using browser privacy or content-blocking controls; or
- installing the [Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Blocking analytics does not prevent you from accessing the Site, although some aggregate measurements may no longer be available to us.
Contact Form Processing
The contact form can be used without creating an account or signing in to another service.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated abuse. Turnstile and Cloudflare may process technical signals associated with the request, such as network, browser, device, and challenge-result information, to determine whether the submission appears legitimate.
After server-side validation and a successful Turnstile check, the inquiry is sent by the Twilio SendGrid Email API to videosp.info@gmail.com. The reply email address you provide is placed in the email's Reply-To field so that we can respond. The mailbox is provided by Google Gmail.
The Site does not store the inquiry in its own database, Cloudflare KV, D1, R2, analytics data, or application logs. Security and rate-limit records may be processed temporarily without storing the inquiry message itself.
Retention
- Inquiries received in our mailbox are normally retained for one year from the date received and then deleted.
- An inquiry may be retained longer only while a related matter remains active or when retention is reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, establish or defend legal claims, prevent abuse, or resolve a dispute. It will be deleted when that need ends.
- Twilio SendGrid may temporarily process and retain message bodies, recipient information, delivery metadata, content samples, and pseudonymized event information under its own retention and security policies. SendGrid states that message bodies may be retained during delivery attempts, generally for no more than 72 hours; most recipient and activity data generally expires within 37 days; and some pseudonymized security and anti-abuse event information may be retained for up to one year.
- Analytics information is retained according to the settings we select and the applicable Cloudflare and Google retention policies. We will not intentionally configure retention for longer than reasonably needed to understand Site usage and maintain the Site.
Service Providers and Disclosure
We use the following providers to operate the Site:
- Cloudflare: Site hosting, content delivery, security, Turnstile, and Web Analytics;
- Google: Google Analytics and the Gmail mailbox used to receive and answer inquiries; and
- Twilio SendGrid: delivery of contact-form email.
These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective terms, privacy policies, and security arrangements.
We do not sell contact-form information. We do not disclose it to third parties except:
- to the providers listed above as necessary to operate the Site and deliver the inquiry;
- when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, VideoSupporterSoft, or others.
Security
The Site uses HTTPS. Contact-form submissions are validated on the server, escaped when displayed or included in email, protected by Turnstile, and subject to rate limits. Service credentials are stored as Cloudflare secrets and are not intentionally exposed to browsers or included in public source files.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for deciding what information is appropriate to send through the contact form.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for users seeking information about professional video and network software. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Requests and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide information about, correct, or delete personal information contained in a contact inquiry. We may need enough information to locate the inquiry and verify that the request is legitimate. Analytics data may not be reasonably linkable to you by VideoSupporterSoft.
To make a privacy request, contact videosp.info@gmail.com.
External Sites and Product Services
The Site links to Microsoft Store, product documentation, GitHub, and other external services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Installing or using a VideoSupporterSoft application may also be governed by that application's separate privacy policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the Site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date in UTC. Material changes will be identified on the Site when reasonably appropriate.
